Recirculating Aquaculture System (RAS) is a new type of farming model in which waste water produced in aquaculture ponds is treated and recycled through a series of water treatment units. VERTICAL FLOW SETTLER
FUNCTION
Vertical Flow settler is a vertical flow sedimentation tank for front-end treatment of water containing residual bait/fish dung in the fish pond. The plane figure of the pool body is circular, and the water enters the pool from top to bottom through the water inlet pipe set in the center of the pool. An umbrella-shaped baffle is set under the pipe to make the water containing residual bait/fish feces evenly distributed in the pool, and then flow along the entire process. The water section rises slowly, the suspended layer settles into the conical sedimentation bucket at the bottom of the pool, and the clarified water flows out from the surrounding overflow weir around the pool.
